Michael catches his wife with her tennis coach and drags Franklin along to run the guy down. The chase ends with a rope, a stolen truck, and someone else's house coming down instead.

Walkthrough

  1. Get in the truck

    Michael storms out to the driveway. Get in the Bison and wait for Franklin to hop in.

  2. Chase the coach into the hills

    Follow Kyle's car through the tight streets in Vinewood Hills. Stay close and keep the truck out of the walls.

    Note You will lose sight of Kyle's car partway through. That is normal. Keep heading toward the hills and the chase picks back up on its own.

  3. Tie off the balcony

    At the estate, get out of the truck. Franklin hooks the cable to a support beam under the balcony.

  4. Pull it down

    Get back behind the wheel and floor it. Hold the gas until the balcony comes down.

    Tip This part is a straight pull, no steering needed. Hold the throttle down and let the truck do the work.

  5. Head back through the canyon

    Drive back toward Michael's place. A call comes in on the way explaining whose house you actually just wrecked.

  6. Fight off Madrazo's crew

    Cars full of Madrazo's men come after you on the drive back. Switch to Franklin and shoot from the truck while Michael drives.

    Tip Drive-by Killer needs 3 kills from inside the vehicle. Aim for drivers first to take cars out of the fight, then clean up whoever is left.

    Warning The truck can still take real damage during this shootout. Getting boxed in by two cars at once is the fastest way to lose Not a Scratch this late in the mission.

  7. Get back to the house

    Lose any stars if the police got involved, then finish the drive back to Michael's for the confrontation with Madrazo.

Gold medal requirements

  • Not a Scratch

    Finish with minimal damage to the Bison.

  • Time

    Complete the mission within 05:30.

  • Drive-by Killer

    Kill 3 enemies from inside a vehicle.

Watch out for

  • The truck takes damage fast if you clip the hillside walls chasing Kyle. Slow down on the tight turns instead of cutting corners.
  • Drive-by Killer only counts kills made from inside the vehicle. Shooting from cover on foot does not count toward the 3 you need.
  • Losing sight of Kyle's car partway through the chase is normal, not a wrong turn. Keep heading toward the hills and you will catch back up.
  • Skipping the cutscenes early saves real time against the 05:30 clock, especially around the balcony pull.
